Blue and Cream Lace Agate Geode on Stand - Banded Agate Geode with Sugar
About the Item
A beautiful small agate geode showcases natural blue agate laces (also known as Blue Lace Agate), rare cream-colored agate, and a gorgeous sugar druzy interior. This geode is considered exceptionally unique and superior due to the quality of the agate specimen—and its intact form and aesthetics. It's a perfect centerpiece for your home decor or a valuable addition to your agate collection.
Nature amazingly formed the agate layers, where you can see the growth pattern it underwent over millions of years. The layers of this geode begin on a clean shelf developed into various blue tones of agate, naturally, the laces changed into the rare cream-colored tones before going back to the baby blue agate at the center. And, as the icing on the cake, it brings the sugar druzy amethyst in its cave, which is another rare occurrence of this geode.
It is very important to highlight the fact that this Agate Geode brings its purest form, and no treatment has been applied to it.
Outstanding from every angle, this blue lace agate geode is sure to be an amazing addition to your crystal collection. Check out the photos for more details and feel free to message us if you have any questions or specific requests. 🤍
You may be wondering, how were the laced agate layers formed?
It's truly fascinating: agates normally form inside bubbles or cavities of igneous (volcanic) basalt and, over time, are filled with layers of water with high concentrations of silica. The water is slowly evaporated, forming a layer of silica gelatin and then a layer is formed. It is a very slow process and each layer contained different impurities, thus forming different colored bands. Fantastic, right?
