The velvety, druze-coated interior of this vug or natural crystal-lined rock crevice is filled with an abundance of beautifully formed deep emerald green botryoidal malachite crystals. The piece holds a dynamic, sculptural form echoed by the composition of the botryoidal clustering inside the vug, which looks as if it has been dusted in nothing less than glitter. A standout specimen out of the DRC.
