About the Item

From the legendary Tsumeb Mine in Namibia – a locality celebrated for producing some of the world’s most exquisite Cerrusite – comes this exceptional example of the lead carbonate mineral. This fine crystal displays a warm, delicate peach hue and excellent translucency. A large, sharply terminated primary crystal rises from a dense matrix of lustrous, intergrown Cerrusite crystals, creating a striking and sculptural composition. Mounted on a lucite base measuring 1-7/8"L x 1-7/8"W x 1/2"H, this elegant display piece captures both the geological and aesthetic brilliance for which Tsumeb specimens are renowned. A premium acquisition for the discerning collector. Weight: 216 g
