Crinoids, also known as sea lilies, are members of the Echinodermata phylum along with starfish and sea urchins. This well preserved sea fossil is from Morocco. Crinoids have the appearance of graceful underwater flowers. They are among the oldest fossils known in the world, dating all the way back to the Ordovician period, or 450 million years ago.
