The Apulian Pumo is a symbol of prosperity, fertility and luck, represented by an acanthus bud. Traditionally, it was placed in front of houses to protect them from harm and to attract wealth and happiness to the family.
The Bottega is today undoubtedly the spearhead of Puglia pottery art. The artist was practically born among ceramics and has nourished herself with this art throughout her life until she reached that refined taste that leads her, today, with the collaboration of her husband to seek – while respecting tradition – shapes and chromatic effects that materialize in extremely refined objects, suitable for satisfying a cosmopolitan and demanding clientele. The renovated showroom welcomes customers and visitors in a triumph of lights, shapes and colors that encourage everyone to linger, almost with emotion, among hundreds of objects of extraordinary beauty scattered throughout the large rooms and small nooks that make up this centuries-old tradition workshop.
