About the Item

Wonderful bronze sculpture of Thumbelina from the fairy tale of the world Danish author Hans Christian Andersen. Very fine cast bronze figure of the late 19th century in the Art Nouveau style. The sculptor did not approach this work in a trivial way, this sculpture depicts the very moment of the birth of the heroine of this fairy tale. A pedestal made of natural stone, with a beautiful pattern, creates a complete visual harmony of this composition. This sculpture is sure to become a pearl of your collection or interior. Size app.: 23.5 cm (roughly 9.2 in) high, 13 cm (roughly 5.1 in) width, 11 cm (roughly 4.3 in) depth. Very Good condition ready to take its place in a collection or interior, some small signs of usage (loss of patina) and age wear. Please study good resolution images for overall condition. Weight of app. 2.1 kg is going to measure some 3 kg packed for shipment.
