Fluorite from this classic Illinois mine is highly desirable. This clear yellow and purple crystal "corner" is actually a complete specimen. The back was up against a matrix, possibly barite, that is no longer present. The clarity and glass like faces are unprecedented. The small metallic mirror like sphalerite crystals are unusual in that they are of textbook quality.
