About the Item
Banded Agate Amethyst Geode Cathedral with a Rarely Seen UV-Reactive Calcite
▫️ Description
A geode that would be beautiful on its own, this piece is topped by a gemmy, large calcite that fluoresces a bright cobalt pink when exposed to UV light (as pictured). It represents the utmost beauty in natural art. Its overall perfection will make it a standout in your mineral collection or a striking element in your home or office décor.
The main attraction of this specimen is the calcite, aesthetically placed at the center and formed as a twin, reminiscent of a bow tie for the geode. The calcite is gemmy, with a natural light cream color and subtle traces of rose. When exposed to UV light, it reveals its full beauty by fluorescing into a striking, bold cobalt pink.
The agate lines are another special feature of this amethyst, uniformly framing the specimen. Beginning with an intense blue agate, the layers evolve into blue and white bands, eventually making way for the amethyst to form within the cave. The calcite at the front of the geode had its tip cut off during the process of opening the geode. This does not affect the overall aesthetics of the piece,
Cathedral-shaped, this geode stands 22 inches tall and weighs nearly 74 lbs, making it the perfect medium-sized specimen.
This exceptional Agate Amethyst Geode comes straight from the source—my hometown, Ametista do Sul, Brazil—and offers the peace of mind of being ethically sourced. Please check the pictures for more details, and feel free to message us with any questions or special requests. 🤍

E2D Crystals
E2D stands for Edivan, Elizandro, and Denny, the 3 Toazza brothers who compose this Family Owned Business and all share a passion for the finest Crystals. As a family, we were lucky to be born and live in Ametista do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil: 'The World's Amethyst Capital'. Our story begins in the 1970s, when our father had a small-scale industry of Amethyst, Agate, and Citrine, originating our passion for Crystals and Minerals. After years in the void, but always being surrounded by these fantastic crystals, we decided that it was time to bring our dreams to reality, and in 2020 we started E2D with a Mission: Every item we sell is Ethically Sourced from small miners and lapidaries, leading the path for the development of the whole supply chain, especially for the ones who need more, the miners.

▫️ Description
Magnificent, rare and colorful, this Amethyst Geode features a stunning multi-colored, deep purple Amethyst crystals on a perfectly cathedral shape geode. Imagine this geode enhancing your space, offering a calming energy.
What first catches the eye in this geode is the variety and beauty of its Amethyst crystals. At the top, a sparkling purple galaxy druzy resembles a night sky, beautifully accented by elongated flower formations naturally filled with golden goethite inclusions—reminiscent of shooting comets.
On the bottom half, a crown-like formation of large Amethyst points has uniquely taken shape. This rare formation is found in only a handful of mines, making this geode truly one-of-a-kind. Within and around this "crown," additional calcite crystals and smaller Amethyst points with unique inclusions further enhance the specimen’s beauty.
Overall, this geode stands out not only for its vibrant banded agate but also for its exceptional variety of mineral inclusions, such as Goethite (Cacoxenite), Calcite, and other fascinating mineral formations.
Perfectly sized at just over 21 inches tall and weighing 39 lbs, it’s ideal for display as a centerpiece or addition to your collection. The geode's base consists of a thin Basalt layer, securely reinforced to protect and showcase its intricate and delicate natural structure.
Ethically sourced directly from Ametista do Sul, Brazil—renowned for producing some of the world's finest Amethyst—this specimen brings peace of mind along with exceptional beauty.
This high-quality Amethyst geode is sure to become a treasured highlight in your collection or decor. Please view the photos for additional details, and feel free to message us with any questions or special requests. 🤍
