From Wessels Mine, Kalahari Manganese Field, Northern Cape Province, South AfricaLarge crystals of dark-metallic hematite with mirror-like luster on most crystal faces and fine striations on other faces. The side and rear have naturally crystallized textured faces where the hematite grew simultaneously with the surrounding minerals. Hematite provides a special feeling of grounding and connection to the earth. It is often used for protection, balancing yin and yang energies, and calming anxiety. 94.5 grams, 2 x 1 x 1.25 inches
