This mineral specimen of Lapis Lazuli with pyrite inclusion on a wood and brass stand is a great classic. Lapis lazuli have always been researched (even in antic Egypt) and valued : for jewelry, pigment making, item crafting such as boxes...
This one is from the most famous present place : Afghanistan.
The stand, with it's brass upper part, recalls the golden pyrite included in the stone, and the wood offers a nice color display of royal blue, gold, and deep varnished brown. It's a must have to decorate your home or desk with a classy and solid touch.
The specimen weights a around 1,1 kg (without stand) and is 17cm high (also without stand). It has the best tone of blue you can find.
