A large example of a naturally-formed smoky dogtooth calcite mineral specimen, presented on an exclusive plinth ready for interior display. This natural calcite specimen is an excellent example of the dogtooth variety with golden scalenohedral crystals – also known as dogtooth spar – formed into defined, darkened points over millions of years. Presented on one of our medium painted plaster bases, this striking dogtooth calcite specimen is an impressive display piece for a collector’s cabinet.
