This natural calcite specimen is an excellent example of the dogtooth variety with golden scalenohedral crystals – also known as dogtooth spar – formed into defined, darkened points over millions of years. Presented on one of our medium painted plaster bases, this striking dogtooth calcite specimen is an impressive display piece for a collector’s cabinet.
