Malachite in free form mounted in original design acrylic base

About the Item

Origin: Zaire, Africa Its name comes from the Latin malachites, in allusion to its color. It is currently used more as a semi-precious stone. It has been among the favorites of kings and nobles for centuries. Malachite has been a highly prized stone in clothing, as well as in the decoration of great palaces because it was believed that the brilliance of the gemstone was a true reflection of the intelligence of its owner. Today, the main mining deposits are in Zaire. In this collection we present some free form malachites mounted in original design acrylic base.
