Rare Natural Blue Lace Agate Slice with Crystal, Blue, and Bronze Agate Bands
Located in Ametista Do Sul, BR
A Superb Blue Lace Agate with a Rarely Seen Combination of Colors and Drawings ▫️ Description A superb slice of agate, this delicate specimen displays geological artistry. This Soledade Agate showcases intact banding in rare blue, bronze, and clear color hues—a truly artistic expression from Mother Nature. Over millions of years, layers of agate formed continuously. Hundreds of tiny bronze and deep blue bands create a frame, while the clear crystal provides the necessary empty space for the agate's central drawing to emerge. Special mention must be made of the central drawing, where rare blue, black, and cream colors form a microscopic landscape, reminiscent of icy terrain or coral formations, with sparkling druzy accentuating its intricate details. This thin slice of agate is translucent, and as you can see in the pictures, backlighting enhances and alters the color perspective of the agate, bringing out a blossoming golden hue. It is a perfect display specimen to place near a window, allowing you to witness the agate's transformation from an icy, cold appearance to a fiery, rich landscape throughout the day. With no cracks and no treatment at all, the agate is of super-extra, gallery grade. This breathtaking blue lace agate slice is a true collector's piece. With details visible from both sides, it's sure to become a part of your crystal collection. Check out the close-up photos to admire the intricate banding and delicate color hues. Have questions? Feel free to send us a message! Have you ever wondered how these mesmerizing blue lace layers formed? Agates typically form within gas bubbles or cavities in igneous (volcanic) rock like basalt. Over time, these cavities fill with layers of silica-rich water. As the water slowly evaporates, it leaves behind a layer of silica gel, which eventually hardens into a solid layer. This process repeats, with each layer potentially containing different impurities that contribute to the variation in color we see in the agate's bands. It's a remarkably slow process, and the result is truly fantastic, right? ▫️ Blue Lace Agate Slice on Stand...

Rare Blue Lace Agate with Clear Quartz Geode Slice, Natural Geological Art
Located in Ametista Do Sul, BR
Natural Agate Slice with Stunning Banding Patterns, Natural and Undyed ▫️ Description With an extraordinary growth pattern, this agate slice defies logic, leading to an intriguing question: How could a crystal layer develop between the agate's natural bandings? This one-of-a-kind, high-grade piece is a genuine form of geological art, the perfect gift for an Agate lover, or the piece to start conversations as a decorative masterpiece. The natural drawings first started as a dark green banding, which evolved into blue and white agate laces. After these laces, a geological miracle occurred, where a layer of amethyst crystal formed, adding hints of clear quartz and purple to the geode, leaving us to wonder how it came to be. To crown it all, in the final stages of its evolution, blue lace agate formed, allowing only white layers to develop in its center. It is all-natural, with the perfect, delicate lines growing intact, this piece is a true natural artwork. We decided to display it in a custom-made stand, enabling you to enjoy both sides of this specimen. You might wonder, "How did the blue lace layers form?" Agates usually develop in volcanic basalt cavities, filled over time with silica-rich water that leaves behind layers as it evaporates. While this explains the colorful bands, the crystal layer between the agate layers remains a mystery. Fascinating, isn't it? Check out the photos and feel free to send us a message if you have any questions or specific requests. 🤍 ▫️ Rare Blue and White Lace Agate with an Amethyst Crystal Layer (Cut, Polished, RAW, no enhancing treatment) ▫️ Color: Blue, White ▫️ Quantity: 1 - The item you see is the item you get ▫️ Size: -- 2.7 Kg - 6.0 lb -- Height: 29.5 cm. - 11.6 In. -- Width: 20 cm. - 7.9 In. -- Depth: 3 cm. - 1.2 In. ▫️ Amethyst Origin: Ametista do Sul - Brazil ▫️ Base: Self Standing ▫️ Ethically Sourced ▫ The E2D Crystals and Minerals Mission: It's been a long journey to bring you the best quality Minerals and Crystals from Brazil while making sure that every item we sell was ethically sourced. 17th Century 'Florence Fragment' with Fossil Agate Coral, Crystals & Chalcedony
By Interi
Located in Dublin, Dalkey
17th Century Italian church vase decorated with fossil agate coral, red phantom quartz crystals, and chalcedony rosettes on polished agate base. This fragment is from a church in Florence. It was found and saved from the historic flooding of the Arno River in 1966. Fossil agate coral is mounted on top of the artifact. Fossil agate coral is Florida's state stone and is known for its unique formation that can take place over 20 million years. It's a natural gemstone that is created when prehistoric coral is gradually replaced with agate. It is adorned with coordinating red phantom crystals and chalcedony rosettes that resemble the color and texture of the piece. The piece has been naturally distressed from the flood. It has been preserved and transformed by Jean O'Reilly Barlow, the creative director of Interi. The date of manufacture reflects when she created the piece and the period shows that the Italian fragment is originally 17th century. The story and history of this piece and Interi's collection of Florence fragments...
