About the Item
This natural tsavorite crystal is a museum-grade example of one of the rarest and most coveted members of the garnet family. Sourced from the famed Merelani Hills in the Manyara Region of Tanzania, this gem-quality grossular garnet features a rich, saturated green hue with remarkable translucency and brilliance.
Exhibiting a textbook dodecahedral crystal habit, this uncut and unpolished tsavorite garnet is completely untouched. The reverse side showcases distinctive computer chip-like etching accented by graphite inclusions, adding character and authenticity to this already exceptional specimen.
Highly sought after by collectors and connoisseurs of rare gemstones, this tsavorite offers both aesthetic beauty and geological significance, making it a standout addition to any fine mineral or gem crystal collection.
