About the Item

A pair of tall Amethyst Geodes with gorgeous aesthetics, these AAA Amethysts are ready to become a natural form of art to accentuate the space in your home or office decor or become a statement piece in your collection. Bookmatching, both sides are part of the same geode and bring rare characteristics that mix together beautifully. The first thing we notice is the perfect formation of the pair, on a tall format, with a slight curve accentuating its aesthetics. With less than 1% of the geodes being larger than 3 ft, a specimen this tall (4.1 Ft) is almost unparalleled. The Amethyst druzy is dark in color, contrasting beautifully with the surrounding lace agate matrix. The AAA (super extra) quality deep purple druzy spreads uniformly at both geodes. The points are naturally polished and transparent, creating a natural sparkly quality to them. Another rare characteristic is the Golden Goethite Inclusions found in the Amethyst Points. The goethite needles grow very large and give a golden reflection when light is applied. Formed over 120-140 million years ago, this specimen was ethically and legally mined in Ametista do Sul Brazil, and is an unrepeatable natural form of art. By the way: as a size comparison, the model is 1.58m. - 5.25 ft. tall.
