Rare Amethyst Geode Cathedral with Intact Rose Quartz Pseudomorph Flowers

About the Item

Elegant and sculptural, this geode showcases some of the rarest elements found in any Amethyst. It features world-class Pink Pseudomorph flowers growing atop a beautiful, high-grade, second-generational Amethyst druzy. This specimen is a superb choice for any crystal collection due to its rarity, aesthetic appeal, and perfect condition. It can also serve as a centerpiece for decor, sure to be an eye-catching crystal. Quartz pseudomorph after Anhydrite is typically found set on basalt and celadonite matrix. However, nature has outdone itself in this case, with the Pseudomorph Quartz impressively growing atop purple Amethyst. Another remarkable feature is the formation of the Pseudomorph Quartz itself. Boasting many flowers that could be standalone cabinet specimens, they form in clusters. The geode was cut in such an impressive manner that the flowers were kept intact. The druzy is a chapter apart, with the Amethyst displaying two distinct generations visible from its polished edges. The first generation presents the color of Amethyst, a beautiful shade of purple that spreads evenly throughout the entire geode cave. On top of the purple amethyst, a layer of microcrystals formed, giving this geode a matte finish aspect that calls little attention, allowing the pseudomorph crystals to be the main attraction. Matte purple and the pastel pink pseudomorph quartz seem to be a color composition drawn by an artist, the colors analogously complement themselves, creating a harmonious and visually appealing display that enhances the natural beauty of the geode. Definitely, an outstanding Amethyst geode that comes with the peace of mind of being ethically sourced in my hometown, Ametista do Sul. Amethyst Cathedral Geode with Rare Black Galaxy Druzy
Located in Ametista Do Sul, BR
A one-of-a-kind natural masterpiece, this Amethyst Cathedral Geode is truly a collector’s specimen. Its most prominent feature is the Dark Galaxy Druzy: small, exceptionally clean Amethyst points with a rare black tone that blends with violet and golden goethite inclusions, creating an unparalleled shine. The druzy displays rare characteristics, most notably the presence of Golden Goethite (also known as Cacoxenite) inclusions throughout. Similar to how Rutile Needles form, Golden Goethite is composed of iron that existed before the quartz took shape, now forever encapsulated within the Amethyst points. These inclusions add to the striking coloration and enhance the geode’s brilliant luster, further increasing its rarity. This specimen also features numerous Amethyst Flowers (also known as Amethyst Rosettes...
