About the Item

PRODUCT INFORMATION: Specimen Type: Aquamarine on Albite from Kunnar, Afghanistan Weight: 192 grams Dimension: H: 9.7 x W: 5.8 x D: 3.5 cm Treatment: None Origin: Watalak Mine, Kunnar Province, Afghanistan DESCRIPTION: This is colorful and rare find of Aquamarine on Albite with yellow iron oxide coating. The Aquamarine has magnificent saturated sky blue color in contrast against the creamy Albite matrix. The Aquamarine crystal has perfect smooth termination with fine edges and very good transparency. Aquamarine is a member of the beryl family, which also includes emerald. Its color ranges from pale blue to a vibrant blue-green, often resembling the colors of a tropical lagoon. The gemstone's clarity is highly valued, with high-quality aquamarines being transparent and free from visible inclusions.
