Spinosaurus (meaning "spined reptile") is one of the largest carnivorous dinosaurs to ever exist. This behemoth lived in present-day Morocco during the upper Albian to upper Turonian stages of the Cretaceous period, about 112 to 93.5 million years ago. This genuine toe claw was unearthed in the Kem Kem formation, Sahara Desert, Morocco and measures 4-1/8" long.
