Sugar Coated Galaxy Amethyst Cluster with Deep Purple Amethyst Druzy and Calcite
About the Item
An Amethyst Galaxy Druzy cluster that is an exceptionally rare find, with a gorgeous, aesthetically pleasing formation and a unique shimmery effect emitted from the sugar-coated amethyst druzy. This is a world-class specimen to become an addition to your crystal collection, or the rare natural touch to add to your home or office decor.
The first thing that catches the eye in this cluster is the Sugar Coat druzy (also known as Galaxy Amethyst). This rare, shimmery effect is caused by secondary mineral growth, where microcrystals form on top of the existing amethyst surface, resembling granulated sugar, which is where the name Sugar Druzy comes from.
Small, geometrically shaped calcite has elegantly grown on top of the amethyst druzy, offering a striking contrast in colors and balancing the overall appearance of the specimen. In terms of color, the sugar druzy is unparalleled, bringing a deep purple Amethyst paired with pristine, clear Calcite. And to crown it all, Golden Goethite can be seen inside.
It's important to emphasize that this cluster is completely raw in all its forms and was ethically sourced in our hometown of Ametista do Sul. Please check the pictures to see more of it and feel free to message us in case you have any questions or particular requests. 🤍

As a family, we were lucky to be born and live in Ametista do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil: 'The World's Amethyst Capital'. Our story begins in the 1970s, when our father had a small-scale industry of Amethyst, Agate, and Citrine, originating our passion for Crystals and Minerals. After years in the void, but always being surrounded by these fantastic crystals, we decided that it was time to bring our dreams to reality, and in 2020 we started E2D with a Mission: Every item we sell is Ethically Sourced from small miners and lapidaries, leading the path for the development of the whole supply chain, especially for the ones who need more, the miners.

- Amethyst Geode with Deep Purple Amethyst Druzy, Blue Lace Agate, and CalciteLocated in Ametista Do Sul, BRA geode that stands as an impressive natural sculpture, with calcite, deep purple, and shiny amethyst, and an aesthetical calcite inclusion interlacing that forms a unique display of natural artistry, a centerpiece. Rarely seen in any Amethyst specimen, the contrast between the deep purple Amethyst and the Blue Lace Agate creates a stunning visual effect. The Blue Lace Agate forms a natural frame in teal, white, and light blue colors that allows the Amethyst to shine from within, bringing its grape-jelly purple, along with intact points, creating a lustrous, sparkly effect to the specimen. The Agate Lines are a very special and rare feature of this amethyst specimen. They formed uniformly throughout the entire specimen. The layers begin with a moss agate matrix containing calcite inclusions, which form beautiful natural flowers. These are covered by the first layer of blue lace agate. Atop this, baby-blue and white laces developed, eventually giving way to the galaxy amethyst, allowing it to shine. To crown the geode, calcite perfectly formed on its side, adding a much needed contrasting aesthetical point to it. On a Cathedral with a Nave top, it stands at almost 19 Inches tall and weighing almost 55 lbs. This exceptional Amethyst with Lace-Agate geode specimen...Category
