About the Item
Large Acacia sculpture on metal plinth.
This stunning slice of Acacia arrives from the Philippines from a fallen tree, so as not to cause any deforestation or upset the natural order. On arrival at the artist's studio in France, the wood is further seasoned causing the outer edges to gain their silvery hue. The wood is then machined, worked by hand and finished with a natural wax to bring out the beauty of the wood.
