Pair of Continental Gilded and Polychromed Wood Figures in Niches, 19th Century

About the Item

19th century continental gilded and polychromed carved wood figures, each presented in a niche. They are similarly carved standing demi-figures, clothed in winged cloak, largest. Approximate size of figures is 20" H x 9" W x 5" D. They sit in carved niches. One carved and gilded in a chevron pattern and the other with a gilded star pattern.
