About the Item

Dame Jeanne or carboy antique glass bottle demijohn. The carboys were often protected from shocks and temperature variations into a wicker basket. Between the bascket and the bottle, some straw was added. This king of dame jeanne is rare because the wicker has rarely come down to us in a good state of preservation. in addition, it is also rare to be able to remove the wicker lid, which has often been attached to the basket. Good condition.
