About the Item

Collection of four Otto Braeur Holmegaard bottle vases . Large red and large yellow measure 17" tall with 6.75 diameter . Smaller red measures 14.75" tall with 5.75 diameter Green vase measures 12" tall with 4 and 5/8 diameter . Otto Brauer (1911–1984) started his career in the Danish glass industry at the early age of 14 . Today he is most known for his ”Gulvvase” (Floor Vase) series for the Holmegaard company. The vases were designed in 1962 with bottle shapes, pop-era colors, and joyous expressions. The first years, the bottles only came with unicolored glass: Olive green, brown, dark blue, and white. In 1970, they were launched with white inner layer and colored outer layer: Red, ruby red, turquoise, green, olive green, and yellow.
