Fitted Traveling Case Original Blown Bottles & Crimson Brocade Cover Late 18th C

Fitted traveling case with original hand blown gilt decorated bottles with the original crimson brocade cover, late 18th century. The case retains the original working lock and key on a braided 18th century cord with tassels. "Case With Bottles" frequently appear in 18th century inventories of estates, although few have survived intact because of their fragility.
