Snuff Bottles Reverse Painted Set 5 Birds
About the Item
Our snuff bottles are 100% hand painted from within and topped with gemstone grade agate lids. The Chinese art of églomisé uses a very thin bamboo brush with a few strands of hair to apply watercolor on the inside walls of the blank glass bottle manifesting a different image on each side. This special collection features 5 delicately painted bottles depicting birds in all seasons amid blooming flowers. Such a theme is a traditional auspicious symbol for joy and good news.
We want to emphasize that our bottles are painted free hand, not "painting over prints" or stickers/decals which are the common practice for bottles this size. These are genuine, hand painted works of art. Comes with individual boxes.
