Elegant bottle vase in red earth from Vallauris, enamels with muted tones and abstract patterns revealing the earth through a transparent effect.
About the Artist
Graduated from the Reims School of Fine Arts in the architecture section in 1949, he turned early to ceramics and founded his workshop in Vallauris, the Atelier du Vieux Moulin, in 1954. He left it in 1975 to devote himself exclusively to ceramics. sculpture not without having, for a time, approached architectural ceramics. His artistic work has been the subject of numerous exhibitions in Europe, particularly in Belgium, Great Britain and Hungary.
