About the Item

A set of 3 Paolo Venini Sommerso Inciso art glass decanters. This is a jaw-dropping set of mid century decanters from legendary Italian designer Venini. Venini is responsible for some of the most iconic and influential designs of Murano glassware. This set features three decanters of similar style. The blue and teal decanters have the same size, while the yellow one is of a slightly larger shape and size. Each decanter has a beautiful glass stopper with complimenting colors. The color and texture of these decanters is absolutely beautiful and shows the dedication and craftsmanship Venini had to his work. The techniques of sommerso and inciso is quite difficult and requires a very talented hand to craft something this clean and beautiful such as these decanters. Each of these decanters have the original tagging on the underside, and are also each signed. Although, the signature is quite faint, it can be seen next to the tag on the photo above. Each of these three pieces are in fantastic condition. The yellow decanter measures 10.25 inches tall, and has a diameter of approximately 4.5 inches. The blue and teal decanters each measure 8.75 inches tall, and have an approximate diameter of 4 inches.
