Art deco very fine porcelain, Camile Naudot.
Size: 19 cm
very good condition.
Born the son of a porcelain merchant, Camille Naudot grew up surrounded by examples of fine pottery. Naudot became successful in the family business in 1889 and began taking courses at l'École de Sèvres in porcelain production. Naudot was greatly influenced by the level of detail and technical expertise in the works created by Sèvres for the royal courts of Versailles before the French revolution, and began experimenting with soft-paste porcelain to achieve the level of detail seen in these eighteenth-century works.
