Porcelain Decanter Signed on the bottom "Jules Blanc Distillerie, Bulle"

About the Item

Charming, useful and decorative porcelain decanter made for the Jules Blanc Distillerie, Bulle, Switzerland, by the Porzellanfabrik Langenthal AG, Langenthal, Switzerland in 1934. This sparkling white figurine, in the shape, I think, of a man from the Netherlands, is decorated in bright, rich and shiny platinum and stands about 10 5/8 inches (27 cm) tall with his hat on. He is holding his pipe and, although he is 79 years old, he is just like brand new without any defect - like the day he was made at the Porzellanfabrik. Not only could this gentleman of Holland be used as a decanter for the beverage of your choice, but he is a wonderful decorative piece and certain to be the subject of conversation.
