Schneider Style Soliflore Vase by La Verrerie de Maure-Vieil, French Glass Vase

About the Item

Unique and sophisticated, this vase is crafted of mouth-blown "pate de verre" glass and hand-decorated using a technique invented by the Romans then reintroduced during the Art Nouveau period and continued throughout the 1960s. This creation has stunning lines along its tapered and curved surface. The lines accentuate its elongated silhouette and movements. This art glass vase was created in the glassworks studio by Bob le Bleïs in the sixties, renowned French master glazier. Fine contemporary design in this French art glass vase. Very good quality, and wonderfully decorative. Signed MV. Measures: 24 1/8" High x 9" Diameter Will enhance any setting.
