Set of Three Eglomise Reverse Painted Snuff Bottles with Lotus
About the Item
Our snuff bottles are topped with gemstone grade agate lids and 100% hand painted from within. The Chinese art of eglomise uses a very thin bamboo brush with a few strands of hair to apply watercolor on the inside walls of the blank glass bottle manifesting a different image on each side. Featured set includes 3 very special bottles with yellow background and delicate paintings of lotus flowers. We want to emphasize that our bottles are painted free hand, not "painting over prints", stickers or decals which are the common practice on bottles this size. These are genuine, hand painted works of art. Comes with individual boxes. This is the last set.
