Pair of large authentic 19th century glazed terracotta pitcher bottle jugs originally used for containing water and olive oil - the smallest one still has the original cork stopper in the spout. Beautifully aged and weathered with stunning glaze in warm brown and earthy sage green nuances. France, 19th century. Price is for the pair. Height of the largest jug: 45.3 cm/17.8 inches. Height of the smallest jug: 33.5 cm/13.2 inches.
