Vintage Bulbous-Form Light Green Demijohn with Cork Stopper

About the Item

Pale green demijohn/carboy originally used for transporting wine (ca. Early 20th Century, France). Composed of 'blown-to-mold' glass (a method accepted as 'hand-blowing') exhibiting trapped air bubbles within the glass itself with a sheared lip and small cork stopper. Thoroughly cleaned, though spotting and light soiling remain, as shown. Somewhat small size measuring H: 16" x Diameter: 10.63"
