About the Item

Set of Three Mid-Century Minimalist Handled Vases by Fritz Van Daalen, Germany, 1930s An exquisite set of three Mid-Century Minimalist vases, designed by Fritz Van Daalen, founder and first designer of the prestigious Van Daalen ceramics studio, established in the 1930s in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany. Each vase features a refined, softly curved form with side handles, unified by their minimalist aesthetic yet distinct in their satin and matte glazes—grey, mottled chocolate brown, and deep navy blue. Displayed together, they form a visually striking and elegant trio. All three pieces are in excellent vintage condition. Each is signed and marked, with one still bearing the original Van Daalen label sticker. Dimensions (Height x Diameter): Grey Vase: 20 cm x 17 cm (7.87 in x 6.69 in) Brown Vase: 19 cm x 16 cm (7.48 in x 6.30 in) Navy Vase: 15 cm x 15 cm (5.91 in x 5.91 in) This rare and collectible set exemplifies the timeless elegance of German modernist design.
