About the Item

This eccentric ceramic centerpiece/pot, from Pucci ceramics of the 1940s-50s, is striking for its vibrant orange color and the presence of elegant relief decorations. Floral motifs, made of polychrome glazes, stand out on the surface, giving the piece a joyful and decorative character. On the sides, a series of gold and white spheres serve as original handles or ornamental details, emphasizing the taste for sinuous forms and experimentation typical of the period. The model features the signature and its code F129. Shape: basic oval, slightly elongated, with irregular top edge. Colors: exterior in bright orange, interior on a dark background (black), polychrome floral trim and details (blue, green, yellow), side spheres in white and gold. Decorations: stylized embossed flowers and spherical appliqués enriching the handles. The style is influenced by the modernist and imaginative taste of the early postwar period, combining chromatic vivacity and sinuous lines, hallmarks of many Italian ceramics of the 1940s-50s. Made of glazed ceramic, with polished finishes and embossed applications. Glazes with full, bright colors, typical of the Italian tradition of the 20th century. Ideal as a decorative centerpiece, flower stand (with low arrangements) or simple decorative item. Perfect for adding a touch of color and retro design to both classic and modern settings.
