19th Century Italian Mustard Glazed Terracotta Olive Oil Jar Amphora

About the Item

Add a Mediterranean touch to your indoor or outdoor spaces with this elegant antique terracotta Amphora. Crafted in southern Italy circa 1860, the large urn has a traditional round shape over a long neck; it is dressed with double handles, and features a pouring spout at the bottom. The tall time-worn olive oil jar is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a beautiful and rich hand painted mustard glazing finish on the top half. Versatile, the vessel could be placed in a room corner filled with dry foliage, or outside on a garden patio. Measures: 23.5" diameter 41" height.
