20th Century French Confit Pot

About the Item

Found in the South of France, this is a lovely French confit pot. Confit pots were used for food preservation. The bottom half was left unglazed to allow the pot to keep cool while half buried in the ground. Featuring a wonderful glazed color this piece would be wonderful as a vessel to hold kitchen utensils or flowers. H 10.5 in. x W 10.5 in. x D 9 in.
