About the Item

A fine antique English cut glass jar. With a blown body & top with cut panels to the side. Supported by pedestal with an applied knop & wafer foot. Simply a wonderful lidded glass container! Date: Late 19th or early 20th Century Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. Condition Details: There is a chip to the top of the lid's finial, some fritting to the high points, some coke floating in the glass, and an expected ring of wear and light scratches to the base. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Measurements: Height: ca. 12 1/4 in. Diameter: ca. 6 5/8 in.
