An Antique English Mid 19th Century Hand Painted Derby Ewer This elegant mid 19th century English Derby Ewer is of a slender design with a scrolled handle and a shaped foot. The main body is beautifully hand painted with flowers and foliage in rich Imari colours typical of what this factory is famed for. It is further enhanced with rich fine gilding. This miniature ewer is in excellent condition. It has the factory mark on the underside. Circa 1860. Dimensions: W 6 cm (2.4") x D 4.5 cm (1.8") x H 13.5 cm (5.3") We hope you enjoyed looking at this English hand pained porcelain Derby ewer that is over 150 years old. A rare survivor in our opinion. The dish is exquisitely decorated over a grey boarder with a broad band of delicate foliate stylised intricate gilding with leaves, shells and anthemion amongst its detail.
