Large 19th Century Italian Tin Glazed Faience Apothecary Albarello Medicine Jar

About the Item

An antique 19th-Century Italian faience albarello or apothecary pharmacy jar with lid. This fine jar has an impressive hand painted crest surrounded by ornamental scrolls and foliage in blue, white and yellow colors. It displays beautifully and would be wonderful used as a vase with a bouquet of flowers. There is some expected crazing in the glaze but no cracks in the body.
