Large Chinese Canton Blue and White Ginger Jar
About the Item
Chinese Canton ginger jar, this blue and white jar has the typical scenes and motifs of Canton pieces- trees, houses, hills and water . The area around the rim is undecorated, also usual as they often had an overlapping lid. The size is much larger ( and rarer) than most and is very good condition aside from a couple of insignificant chips at and underneath the base (see photos and video)
