About the Item
Set of 2 very large terracotta jars, aged, traditional Javanese ethnic style. Originally from Java (Indonesia), these ancient coins were once used for storing food or drinking water.
Each jar, of size XXL, presents a generous shape with a slightly flared collar, and a superb natural patina acquired over time. Entirely hand-crafted, they bear the unique marks of their history, testifying to Javanese craftsmanship.
These authentic jars are ideal for an interior decoration of character: they bring warmth, texture and a touch of exoticism to any space, whether in a contemporary, bohemian or wabi-sabi decor. To be displayed together for a strong sculptural effect.
