Seven Large Mid 20th Century German Brown Amber Glass Apothecary Jars with Lid
About the Item
A decorative collection of seven extra large German 1930s-1940s apothecary jars in blown and pressed amber glass with pressed and blown glass lids.
Once used for chemistry and pharmaceutical stuff, now very pretty as decoration set.
Not jet antique but almost and in a very decorative nice dark amber colour.
They would look great with dried or silk flowers in them, or just as a curiosity cabinet set 'as is'.
All bottles have their original glass stoppers, the biggest is one solid piece of glass, others are open and some closed, blown in a mould with visible pontil.
Bottles range from 35cm high x 18cm diameter (13.8"x7.1") to 19cm high x 9cm (7.5"x3.5") diameter.
