Handmade terracotta olive jar with shell motifs, Spain, 1930s On an antique traditional preserving / storage jar from Andalusia a coat of lime was applied creating shell motifs thorough. Eye-catching piece from all sides. Terracotta unglazed interior and lime covered exterior. To be exhibited on a pedestal stand, on a chest or credenza or on the floor. Use it as decorative jar or as a plant stand to add a natural accent in any contemporary, rustic, natural or wabi-sabi decoration. Rare find. It would be a nice addition as a part of a traditional pottery collection. Measures: 44 cm diameter x 47 cm height.
