Small saucer dish with flat everted rim, painted with a frog looking up in a grassy verge beside flowers and tree, the cavetto with a band of ruyi heads enclosing prunus, the border with a band of overlapping stylised petals, the underside with two peach branches divided by half moons (S. Marchant & Son, 2004, Ming Blue and White) Size: 13.2x2.5CM DiameterxHeight Dating: Jiajing/Wanli, ca 1560-1585 Condition: some minimal frits to rim and 4 firing flaws in base wall.
