Art Nouveau Ceramic Cachepot With Lotus Motif By Sarreguemines, 20th Century

A rounded Art Nouveau ceramic plant pot dates from the early 20th century, produced in the renowned French factory Sarreguemines and features a striking lotus flower motif in soft enamel relief. The body is finished in a warm brown glaze, against which the raised floral decoration — rendered in shades of blue, green, and ochre — stands out with remarkable clarity and elegance.
This ceramic jardinière has typical of Art Nouveau design, the floral composition flows organically across the surface, emphasizing natural curves and rhythmic repetition.
On the base, the cachepot is marked with numbers “2191” and “2952”.
