Highly decorative Italian midcentury tripod plant stand, designed to Cesare Lacca. The tripod structure is made of brass, while the 4 cachepots are made of painted metal, decorated with airbrush gliding, in typical 1950s fashion. Cache pot diameter: 15 cm / 5.9 inches. Provenance: mansion located near Milan. Literature: R. Aloi, "L'arredamento moderno, quinta serie", Hoepli 1952 (illustrates a similar form with the same vases and a different tripod structure)
