About the Item

Striking piece of Midcentury modern pottery, by Claude Conover. Harder to find floor pot, signed / named Maach. #521. Large size, W 12.5” D opening. This piece was sold here in Atlanta, at the Signature Gallery( one of Conover’s principal outlets) and has had only the one owner, until I purchased. The pattern is named Stripes & Cutter, color # 15. It was fired 4/6/72. The pot measures 16” Height and 15.5” in diameter.

    Wear consistent with age and use. The piece was found here, in Atlanta at an estate sale! I washed the inside and outside, carefully. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. There are 2 tiny places on the rim, where the glaze did not cover. Bought from the original owner.
