AN ENGLISH MAJOLICA PEDESTAL IN EGYPTIAN TASTE by JAMES WARDLE & CO. Circa 1880 Modeled with winged lions at each corner enclosing a stylized Egyptian ornament. Moulded laurel wreath band around circular top and rectangular base, in cream, brown and turquoise glaze. 15 1/4" in,(38 cm.) high. 10" x 10" in. (25.5 x 25.5 cm.) at the base.
