About the Item

Beautiful “Cache-pot” or flowerpot in grès céramique with matte finish fabricated in Sèvres, France around 1930s. The material is typical from the Midcentury and the colour is of various grays. There is an ancient figurine as well as other little figures that are hand painted. It is signed by the hand of the artist at the bottom, “Milet” name of the artist and “Sèvres”, the famous french manufacture, where the artist grew up next to, following the footsteps ofhis father who was also an artist producing in the manufacture de Sèvres. This beautiful cache pot can be used to embellish a flowerpot and can also be used as a vase. It’s features are timeless and have the modernist touch that can fit into any kind of decoration while keeping the cachet of its original time.
